1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern access to JobKyte, a job-seeker workspace for maintaining career material, building resumes, previewing resume output, exporting PDFs, and storing private career documents.
By using JobKyte, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use JobKyte for an organization or another person, you confirm that you have permission to do so.
2. MVP and Beta Nature
JobKyte is currently provided as a focused MVP beta. The current launch scope is limited to job-seeker account access, profile editing, career-library management, resume building, document storage, preview, and PDF export.
Features such as CV import, cover letters, application tracking, public profile publishing, coach collaboration, employer workflows, subscriptions, and paid plan enforcement are not part of this MVP unless separately announced as available in the product.
3. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update information that becomes inaccurate.
We may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect users, protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms.
4. Your Content
You keep ownership of the career history, profile details, resumes, descriptions, documents, images, and other content you add to JobKyte.
You grant JobKyte the limited rights needed to host, process, store, display, preview, render, export, back up, and transmit your content so we can provide the service and support your requested actions.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content. Do not upload or submit content that you do not have the right to use.
5. Generated and Exported Documents
JobKyte helps format and export user-directed resume PDFs. You are responsible for reviewing exported documents before sharing them with employers, recruiters, platforms, or any other recipient.
JobKyte does not guarantee employment outcomes, interviews, offers, hiring decisions, or that a resume will satisfy any employer, applicant tracking system, professional standard, legal requirement, or immigration requirement.
6. Documents Vault
Uploaded documents are intended to be private to your account unless you explicitly use a sharing or publication feature. You should not upload documents that include information you are not allowed to store or process through JobKyte.
We may reject, remove, or restrict files to protect service reliability, security, storage integrity, legal compliance, or other users.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Break, bypass, or test security controls without permission.
- Access, copy, modify, or delete another user's data.
- Upload malware, exploit code, or harmful files.
- Use JobKyte for unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or abusive activity.
- Interfere with service availability, rate limits, storage systems, authentication, PDF rendering, or monitoring.
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, rights, or authorization.
- Use automated scraping, bulk account creation, or abusive automation without written permission.
8. Privacy and Security
The Privacy Policy explains how JobKyte handles personal information. You must not submit another person's personal information unless you have a lawful basis and permission to do so.
No service can guarantee perfect security. Report suspected account compromise, private document exposure, broken exports that reveal unintended content, or other security issues to support@jobkyte.com.
9. Account Deletion and Data Requests
The current MVP may not include full self-service account deletion or data export. Until product UI exists, request account deletion, profile deletion, data export, correction, or privacy help through privacy@jobkyte.com or support@jobkyte.com.
Some deletion or export requests may be limited by legal obligations, fraud-prevention needs, security requirements, backup retention, or technical limits.
10. Service Changes and Availability
JobKyte may change, pause, remove, or limit features as the MVP develops. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or restrict access to protect service reliability or security.
We aim to provide useful service, but JobKyte is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, perfect PDF output, data compatibility with every employer system, or error-free operation.
11. Third-Party Services
JobKyte may depend on third-party providers for authentication, storage, hosting, email, monitoring, analytics, PDF rendering, payment infrastructure, or similar operations. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.
12. Disclaimers
JobKyte is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation where legally allowed.
JobKyte does not provide legal, immigration, career, employment, tax, or professional advice.
13. Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobKyte is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, employment outcomes, lost data, or business interruption.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
14. Termination
You may stop using JobKyte at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, cause harm, or if we discontinue the MVP.
After termination, some data may remain for limited periods in backups, logs, support records, legal records, or other systems as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as JobKyte changes. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, email, or another appropriate channel. Continued use after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
